Avatar question...

Stupid question... but I was trying to add my shiny new avatar and I can't seem to make it work. The link is:

I entered that in the URL line and hit submit.

Is it not happy with me because the image it is linking to is a bmp? I saved it as a jpg, but when I uploaded to my free photo thing, it was convered to a bmp...
