I'm late to the party on this one, seeing how it just ended.
Anyway, so far so good.

That's both specific, and yet not really so at the same time. Care to clarify in what way? Still though, I enjoyed EP's style as well - ringing endorsement enough for me to check it out.BlackDove wrote:Very Ergo Proxy style

Graphical style in which the world and the scenes are presented in a chiaroscuro contrast with heavy intonation and emphasis on the dark parts of the scene.
Uhm... as an example, you can take the locations in which the episodes take place in. Say episode 2, rubble and rocks, no horizon in sight, the entire locale is just depressing, forever. It works in a similar way as a theater would work in real life. The entire locale is dark, with illumination being cast on solely around the immediate vicinity of the actors, shutting out the world, making it "unworthy" of appearance, as if it's not even there.
That kind of art style is what Ergo Proxy had going as well. It is very good for depicting a dying world, and they make good use of it.
