Saw it a few years back, definitely recommended to anyone. It doesn't fit into any special niche, but it's a great story (or series of stories, rather). I'm surprised this wasn't brought up in the recommend thread years ago.

Aye, I adored this series. Figured this'd be one you'd get something out of too so I'm glad I was right this time lol.
