Up till 2 weeks previous I was the standard ani guy. Grew up on Star Blazers. Had seen (and loved) Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Akira.
While trolling this forum decided to give some current ani a go.
Currently watching Blassreiter, Claymore, and Witchblade. IMHO, Blass is great and moody, Claymore more classic with some great character development, Witchblade, so far, meh (though there is a lot of scantily clad tit).
Anyways, keeping up with current recommendations and trying to catch up on 20 years of abstinence.
Thanks guys...

Sitting around last night asked my wife if she wanted me to pull up some 'Monk' on the Netflix (she's addicted to it, I find it Scooby Doo'ish).
Anyways, she says, 'Why don't we watch some of that 'Claymore' thing you've been watching, I really like it.'
