normally i'd say aim for 75% on resists or around that
To cap rifles you will have to go way beyond the requirement, for example i fully cap a TT epic rifle but on my tl 114 First Love with 166 RC and 177 wl skill i am still 10% shy on dmg cap and a good 50/min of the rof.
You will have to spec as many points as you can whilst keeping in mind agil and tc, i personally have 10 base agil and rely on drugs for agil because soon i hope to whore a fully capped dissie.

Sounds like having a vehicle as and trying to get RC up that high is out of the question. I raised my VHC to use a bike, but with the way combat seems Ill need to try and cap out RC. I just didnt want to have to ask people for a ride all the time. hehe. I guess I could rely on implants and drugs for that though eh?

Specialisation sucks... but unfortunately it seems the only way in nc.
When your higher level you wont need to drive as you will be pretty fast running and will by then probably have a large range of gen reps to get you around.
For now it aint so much a prob but for the high tl weps to cap em you simply cant afford other subskills not as a rifle spy anyway a pistol spy can afford 1 int skill i think since less wl is needed.

There's also a secret number in those equations. I think it's something to do with the TL, but never been able to prove it. Or work a formula to test.

Basically the shelter i couldnt get right but i think its coz wrong spec but this is a 3 drug tho pa can be drugged on but u need the other for agil.
I have tried to show how you work around the armour i havent put self buffs in but this should give you a good resist andf a good deal of hp althoguth u will need to avoid melee but range is good for that.

Take drugs and ammo/medkits, etc as you need, and put anything you want recycled into there and I will make you some more. If you find Armorpart 8's, 9's or 10's, put them there too, I use them for recycling.

hi kiang, when you said buy medkits the same thought probably sprang through everyones heads. do you know about speccing 30 recycle to clone your ammo/medkits/drugs etc. ? its kinda vital when out hunting, not to mention the 'freebie ness'.
as you have already said, you're new to the game. you can clan your main char to talk/learn/play with the gang and leave your alts' LE chip in to have some protection while you learn your way around the mechanics.
anyway, for the guys i know...helpful bunch, and will give you the knowledge to get you to the same level as everyone else.

Hi again all. I just got back into town. Thanks for the thumbs up Anubis. It will be my pleasure to assist SSX in any way I can.
I found out about the 30 recycle skill just before I left. I adjusted my skills to start recycling ammo. Probably gonna save me alot of hassle in the long run of having to constantly buy stuff. Thanks for the heads up though.
