I switched guilds for a little bit. I'm going to be still SSX but I just joined a guild that just started GvG ing so I'm going to roll with them a while....just letting everyone know that I'm still with you guys.

Stay SSX but you've joined another guild? Sounds like multiclanning to me which is infact against our rules. Either you're SSX or not, can't have it both ways.

its like what kaos is doing right now with rifts. I mean I'll be back but for right now I'm going to just do some gvg. I mean you can take it however you want and say I quit. But I mean I'm just rejoining at a later time. Don't take it the wrong way....I just want to do some gvg. Its not really multiclanning since thats really not possible in GW.

I'll keep out of it as i'm not part of the GW group and i don't know how the GW group are wanting to deal with things like this. But we usually don't like people to treat our guild like a walkthrough guild. Join, leave to go do things with another guild and then plan to rejoin. Like i said in my first place either a person is SSX or not.

Anyway as i said, i'll keep out of it. Those are just my opinions anyway.

We've got 2 other people doing / did that with GW. It's cool. Guilds in GW are simply for GvG and socializing. And with low player counts, some people have switched to another guild to do some GvG in order to gain "fame" / "faction points". Then again, seeing how I haven't been in game for a month or so...

I actually have like 4 ppl going to join in the next few days....one person me and crystal were partying with wanted to join....basically small guild merge with us absorbing them. I still need to talk with the guy in order to get him and his buddies into the guild....I'll keep someone posted on the progress whenever I can get him to join.

I personally don't think it really matters...I just think the officers need to play more cuz if ppl actually look at the whole leader thing for ssx then they should realize that a leader technically does not exist. Its just really depressing to see officers not on since everyone is so fixated on WoW atm.

We can't help it. We need new content in GW... I don't live off PvP alone. If I wanted that, I'd reinstall HL2 and play CS:S

Well new content is on the way with the new content thing they have planned. That should be here soon so ive come to understand. And for SSX-MS we do tend to let people multi clan but in GW it doesnt matter so much as we dont really compete against each other/share secrets or whatever.

Were pretty free with it, but this doesnt mean that we arnt strict if something goes down that we dont want then we let the people know.

No i do believe i said do let them lol, Zero, Zeramon, Kaos...shit some other people as well i cant remember names havnt been playing for a while, anyway we let them go to other guilds but they still roll with us and remain SSX.

I suppose this is against the clan multi clanning rule but i think with GW its a bit different to other games. But in the end our people generaly come back...but i will say this, when i get back from overseas im hopin like hell people will start returnin cos if ya all leave then there isnt a chance of getting PvP done

GW's strength is it's casual nature, it's also it's weakness when it comes to organizing the group.

I gotta agree with serb on that one.....so little ppl are doing pvp in ssx nowadays.....maybe its just cuz serb is gone But its really hard to get into good decent groups. Serb come back sooner More beserker rangers needed

BTW I am and have always been against Multi-Clanning (and I will always be here even if I am the last hardcore PvP addict), but in this case I don't feel we can catagorize those that want to participate in certain aspects of PvP that we can't atm.
The game was meant to allow you to fulltime PvE or even PvP hardcore at the sametime catoring to parttime PvE and random light PvP. So there are a WIDE range of playstyles involved. The Harcore Guild vs Guild PvP part REQUIRES numbers. Its not something you can just do without people, you MUST have people dedicated to PvP (and logged on at the same time), period. Numbers we don't have, so we have lil to no way of competing in GvG unfortunately.
Plus this isn't a P2P game so it is really really casual and those that do play have been mostly PvEing..... So we have nuff folks to have a PvE SSX group, but not nuff for fulltime PvP

Now don't get me wrong if we get a whole frick'n group of hardcore PvPr's who want to ladder match our way to the top, then yes we will have to do things differently.... but its not there atm. We don't even have enuff PvP regulars to take the HoH let alone GvG compete our way to the top. sucks sucks.....

I followed Zero in this move, even in the same guild hes in now. I just needed some good guys to PvP with and we have what 3-5 guys on at one time. Hard ot get any good pvping with that, howeverm we will be back this isn't perm reassignment. And we will bring back with us the exp required to get the guild pvping when we want to go that way.

Mainly its just the casual nature of the game showing itself, you can't really steal from your guild or anything like that. If someone doesn't cooperate with the guild, they don't get guild help, simple as that.

Our guild has a bright future, but I think right now its time to lay the foundation. Grow as players, be ready to make a strong showing in gvg, and take the HoH.

Only one thing, and don;t take this wrong, because you need to do what is fun for you, but, it's a vicious circle, if the people who want to "do these things" all leave, with only promises that they will come back once people start doing "these things."

Pretty much certifying that "we" will never actually "do these things"
as nobody who wants to will be around to do them

That being said, have fun, let us know if yo uwant the reinvite. The game is a little like a shooter, less like an MMO, it is very casual, and there is no good way to group with people outside joining a guild, and our guild is not so active, so, I DO understand the motivation.

I'd have to agree that there has beeen next to no one to play with lately... Bummer since this is my firsrt game with SSX...

I'll probably be playing EQ2 for a while, but i still plan to play GW, also. Hopefully things will pick up.

The other thing about pvp...often, you will not even be allowed in a group sinceee many of them are guild only, so being in an inactive guild makes it really difficult to pvp :P

I'd have to agree there. Except I'm not playing in a FPS perspective, which is probably turning me off a ton. PvE was very enjoyable, lots of laughs and such, until it got repetitive what with 5 chars doing the same quests.
