Well after flying around in my personal craft this morning, looks like there are no unoccupied pieces of land to build on current on Rubika.

So whats this mean?

1) I would like to find a bar of something to call out home until we get our own city.

2) In order to get a city we are goingto have to take it :) which means we need to work on getting the group to a higher level. So keep level, doing some mission work and getting to be more of a bunch of bad asses.

I have found 2 small clan cities that are owned by lower level groups that are right on the border of the Notum conflits, they are prime for us to take when we are ready.

More info to come..

Looks like Nightfury found a empty city, its going to take 100,000,000 credits to buy and 20 mil a month to maintain.

I can cover the initial cost and 3 months, but any donations as you get extra cash to the ORG bank will be great.

thanks

Actually think Athon found it :)

At the moment I can support one month, but scribble me down for 6 months and I'll arrange the creds :)

Either way its going to cost us 20 mil a month, so we are going to need tsome trade craft and some money raids upcoming.

I can cover 3 months myself right now, I am sure we will be ok.

Don't even ask me how much its taking to set it up.

What's our progresson finding and creating a city? It would be cool if we could get some alien raids.

I agree it would be cool, we have the money thanks to me and rho, but have not found a open city and the one we bid on and I was told we won, ended up going to someone else. :( still looking.

Do the effects of a city and towers effect people without the exp?

What level range do we need to assault a city?

Lets set a goal and start getting people to that point. Thalaztian, Alexinas, Rhorek, Summerbabe, Rhorik and Laxity are all close in level range 59-73.

Someone needs to find out what is needed to assault a city, if we do not already know.

you can't assault a city, only land control areas, which that group can do now. Land control areas also give the org perks. lets scout some areas, then the org bank will fund the equipment needed to dampen the resources etc...

Are we willing to move to Clan or Nuetral to get a city?

I would have no problem changing, I actually think the Clan areas are a little better than the omni anyway, especially for dynacamps.

Happy to go with majority though as i wouldn't be bothered really, though to go neutral then everyone would have to start new characters.

I'll miss Rome :( But other than that I don't mind us switching to Clan - TBH going round the shops & terminals in Tir & Athen make me think that they've got it nicer :D

BTW we can't change the org itself - We have to convert the players instead. What that means is that the current org has to be disbanded, and Adrian has to switch Clan then create the new org, then invite all of us in when we switch.

Neutral isn't really an attractive option as - As NF said - We'd have to start new chars completely for a neutral org (once you pick a side, you can never be neutral again - And I think BD might blow a fuse if that happens ;)).

I'm with majority as well though, but AFAIK affiliation doesn't matter for a city :weird:

Don't forget that if you switch from Omin to clan or vice-versa there's some funkiness with the startup maps, and you can't uninstall your current maps to install the new startup ones. Apparently. Seen lots of people moan about it on OOC.

Dunno whether this'll help - It's a little outdated, but better than nothing:

you can still buy the maps individually when you get into the clan side so though it'llcost a few creds more it wont break the bank
