They've done basic mechs, and even the Americans are getting in on the exoskeleton gig (such as this one by Lockheed, the HULC).Fenavian wrote:crazy thing is. I wouldn't put it past them to try and build real mobile suits.

Power is still the main thing holding us back, Just need a rockin new lightweight renewable power source and it will be here.

There's quite a significant problem with how to solve the hydraulics or in other words, how to control one properly.

I don't think control is the issue. With advances in robotics, a mobile suit is certainly feasable.

There was also that six legged walker shown on the forums here a while back too. Or was it 4? I can't remember.
