Looking good! :D
The Banner Saga released today too, not sure if you backed that?. http://www.destructoid.com/review-the-b ... 8853.phtml
Got quite a few games lined up for playing as it is what with the sales, gifts and a couple of other kickstarter games I've yet to play too (like Lilly Looking Through), so not sure how soon I'll get to playing Broken Age & The Banner Saga exactly. Tis nice to see more of these projects finally releasing though, hopefully they will continue to be received well too.

Whilst I'm posting:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/482 ... -guardians
Going to back this :)

Been a while since I posted any kickstarter projects but up until this last week I haven't actually backed any, not since Unsung Story in Jan.

Prisonscape
I've already backed this one. Love the idea of it and they have lots to show for it too rather than being all talk and/or just posting concept art. Very original idea imo and I'm really digging the art style as well tbh, fits perfectly with the setting and tone they're going for. If the story and dialogue is written well then this could turn out to be damn good I think. Also the fact that they have shows like The Wire listed as inspirations for the game too? Hell yeah. Needless to say I backed this in a heartbeat and will be following it closely :)

Been looking at these projects as well:
Last Life (already has the support of Schafer/Double Fine)
Pixel Noir
The Breakout

May back these 3 too.

I really like the look of Prisonscape. Definitely will have to keep my eye on that! :)

Aye, for sure. Seems to be gaining backers quite slowly (even Chris Avellone) but I'm hopeful that it will make it. Going to increase my pledge for it later methinks.

One more which a few of us have been talking about on IRC this week:
Hover : Revolt Of Gamers
:thumb:

Was one of the first 50 backers for this. Already looks incredibly fun and the fact that it's just 3 developers who have done all that... crazy. Can only imagine what the finished product will look and play like. They're already 53% towards their KS goal so it won't be long before they pass that and start on the stretch goals.

Prisonscape, Pixel Noir & The Breakout failed to reach their goal :(, Last Life was funded.
Prisonscape will continue being developed but will just take much longer than it would have done had enough people supported their KS. You can still contribute and pre-order to get access beta and stuff by going here though. <censored> shame though.
On the up side, Hover is doing very well. They've already unlocked 3 of 6 stretch goals with the 4th (Wii U version) being less than 2k away.

Here are some new ones:
Amplitude from Harmonix.
The Universim
Buck
Shiness
which all look pretty great I think. :thumb:
Amplitude & Buck may not reach their goals looking at these but I really hope I'm wrong. Fingers crossed.

Okay Guys just an update on Elite Dangerous (Kickstarter funded), it has just been patched to Alpha 4.

What does this mean???

Okay, Alpha 3 included Space Station docking, a number of single player tutorial missions, a number of online encounters in a persistent universe within a single system. Two flyable ships, Sidewinder and Cobra.

Alpha 4 is expanded to half a dozen systems, a static market per system (rather than a dynamic market which is due in later), 5 or so ships (Sidewinder, Eagle, Cobra, Lakar Mk9 and Anaconda that I have seen for sale in station so far) all flyable and the in system high speed travel with random encounters (interdictions) in high sec space its the Police and low sec its Pirates.

So far it looks pretty nice, it you liked the original Elite, you will like Elite Dangerous.

I will keep in touch as things pan out.

For your information Elite Dangerous has just entered Beta phase 1, as per Alpha 4 just more players.

Those pics remind me so much of Theme Park. Good times!

Nothing beats Theme Hospital though :)

It's about time we had a new Theme Hospital inspired game too.

SL33PY...

Civilization V

And this is coming out this month:

Civilization:Beyond Earth

I'd say Civ V is quality due to the new ways to complete a game and C:BE I'm hoping is up to the same standard.

civ V is was rubbish it took them months before I could play it on my pc due to their shitty DX11 implementation

Game crashes galore!

In the last ten years, each and every game linked to Sid Meier did not deliver until well after launch date

And since Firaxis is dev'ing sid title's it got even worse... which is normal, since that's a company where Peter Molyneux had something to do with at some point in time (the founder is the whiz kid that created theme park at 17 and well known PM protegé)

Never had a problem with Civ V crashing or DX11. Always worked fine for me. And I purchased it the day it came out.

And still looking forward to Beyond Earth. :thumb:
