Buggy?

Hey all,
finnaly got in, fresh new spy but every 5 sec to 2 min i get kick out to my desktop...

Could not find any debug topic on forum.. Anyone had this problem and knows how to fix it?

I dont have any error etheir... It just close nc and im back to my desktop...

I'm stumped.

Best to post on NC forums. That's not normal for sure.

Also, attach your error log to your post there. The error log is somewhere in the NC directory, keeps track of any abnormal shutdowns, etc.

I had prob the other day where i kept getting kicked to login screen every few minutes, or when someone shot a weapon. Even though my client was fully patched, no corrupt files found on the file check, and i'd changed nothing since the last time i played NC.. my client was still dodgy.
Downloaded new client and made a fresh install and it was fine.

When i say fine, i mean i didn't get kicked to login. Ofc i still had the synchs, fatals and all that crap.

Gotta love the bugs.

Thats the problem, there is no error...

Have try to reinstall and still doing the same thing..

A gm have unban my account, have post a topic on it but no good answer yet

I'm continuously getting frustrated by not even able to log in anymore. It'll just say "connecting to server" after I click ENTER or RESUME. Keeps doing this over and over and over and over. No luck on the NC forums either... I've opened my port to match localport... It's like a random chance every now and then I'm able to log in.

Edit: When I'm in windowed mode, I can login just fine. Confusing as hell.

Also, PERMASYNC PERMASYNC PERMASYNC. This is getting really frustrating now.

Yeah - I'm finding it a bit lagger at peak now...

Maybe KK need to switch some of thier "up to date" servers on.

Cyma - I think dans suggestion would be the best, the reason I asked for processes is sometimes you'll have one that tries to start up, I had that a lot when I used *spits* Norton.

That's the thing... I never got in with Silent Resistance That was me stuck in permasync after trying multiple times to access via windowed mode.

Have you tried not running in Windows mode and seeing if you still have problems?

I've only had problems like that if I was double logging, one from this pc and one from my laptop.

Well, at least now I can login from fullscreen. But I'm still stuck in the ol black screen of death.

Edit: Gonna re-DL and see if this helps.

Edit again: DLing the new 2.1 full client. Hopefully this'll fix things...

Well have redowload the game all over from http://www.4players.de/4players.php/dow ... 44930.html but have the same bug again... Could not even finish entering my password that i was back on the desktop.

I have start to download from http://dome-of-york.com/download/ but still got 93 hours to go.. I really hope the first file is the problem

YAY! I finally got past black screen of death (permasync).

Not sure what happened, but Snowie (GM) logged into my characters, and tha t might've fixed things...

Well have pass 2 hours to get all back all my old pc pieces. Once everything reinstall, new NC file nothing else, im all happy to start the game.

Hooo was able to enter my password without crashing. /Dance .. (im a bit impress lol, im aobut to do some sex trains!)

2 sec after i finnaly get out of MC5 BOOOM back to desktop.

But have written one huge mail to the tech support, and finnaly got a answer. I will try it again tonight. I cross my finger.

Only time i had this problem was with my ATI tray manager thing, i had to disable it alot to get the game working but i dunno if that got fixed.
Try disabling everything you can and try the game, maybe without sound mixer also as sound sometimes causes problems, the only thing i can think of is one of your drivers isnt liking nc to much or something.
