oh agree with that, just was wondering cos I have never created a topic in this forum before and had assumed all members could post here issues/questions/polls they might have.

Sure they can post in general but then whats the point of this forum, perhaps renaming it 'announcements' would be a better description for its purpose..

Sorry not trying to start a revolution or anything just found it strange thats all..

(if people are wondering what I was going to post in here, I was just going to ask for Biggies post to be reopened on general as I felt though it was aimed at one person it was obviously open to comment from other people, by the time i'd finished scratching my head about not being able to post in here, it was open again so just left it. Oh and before people say I could have msg'd someone on IRC I refer them to my Trillian posts

The topic warranted closure. I just wasn't inventive enough to change the topic name and therefore put it in another context. Unless you had a similar idea, it'd have to remain closed.

You can post a reply to any "official issue."

Very few people should be posting official issues, and at least one recent "issue" probably wasn't serious enough to require members only
