Archons players

Since I'm the first one to come abroard from Archons. I was wondering if my fellow Archons members can join SSX. There's a few members in the guild I would like to bring them but need to know if you guys will welcome them. Yukirina (warrior), Serenie(druid), Gamakun(dwarf priest), Brandonheat(pally), Barbarher(warrior) or Thearchon(priest). Barbarher will probably move once he reaches Rank 11(pvp).

We have lost a few members due to the server transfers and school.

Mergers are usually a bad idea, however there are a few ways to make a successful integration.

The people responsible for the group are in the best position and should direct protocol, but it would be nice if we were all up to speed on how this merger is handled.

I agree that mergers are usually a bad idea... however, the possibility of some of the Archons group wishing to join SSX has been discussed for several months now as they are a very very small guild that is like minded to playing together for friendship. This is also where several people who are already members such as Sakuragi and Lili came from and friendships have remained strong with them. Through joint ventures over the past couple of months most of us have come to know them as friends.
From my understanding in past and present discussions, it is agreed that all wishing to join will be brought in as any other member would be and the rules and leadership will remain that of SSX. Each member of Archons wishing to join will be discussed individually prior to receiving initiate status, and voted on by all current SSX members prior to being placed into member status.
I understand your concerns, however this is not so much a merger as it is a group of friends wishing to join another group of friends that have already gotten together. There is no dividing of leadership or people getting into SSX just because they are Archons members, their membership to SSX relies on nothing other than their personality and attitude towards the game and the guild, same as with any member.

Meh, I doubt BD was worrying about that part. I've yet to see a case of that happening, as members seem to realize that it's not a good idea.

That's the concern

. Good to see the division is in more than capable hands (referring to all the members, of course) ^^ . There've just been mergers in the past of the SS where the latter wasn't observed, and results weren't very pretty. I've seen it happen on a first hand basis, unfortunately. You end up taking both the good and the bad.

Anyhow, welcome to any and all new members that are/will be incoming from Archons.

yes i admit it..i was in archons before.....and people in ssx have impressed me so much that i have come to the dark side...lol....
all fun and jokes aside....mag is right, i was in archons long before.....and i still know people there granted they don't play as much as before....it's all getting people together and forming friendship and playing for fun that got us all together.....yes there have been talks about some archons joining ssx...we had eve, adam, and phalan that was from achons too....and as of right now, everyone just loves them.....and now they are part of the ssx family.....yes, i know eve and phalan in real life....so it makes it that much better....anyways, to make a long story short, it's not really a merger, it's more some of the archons are coming to the dark side to join us.....

Not all of archons members jump to SSX. There's still a few left that's friends of a friend. Since we don't know them that well, we did not ask them to join yet. Once they hit 50, then we will ask if they would like to join SSX. The ones that joined are people we have been playing since day 1 of WoW. There's another in the guild that would like to join is Adellene, he's on vacation now. Will be suprised to see all his RL friends are gone.

I hope our enrollment in this guild does not create any problems or drama among its members.

Hey everyone sorry i haven't posted anything sooner to let you all know i'm here, but had problems with registering an account on this site. So i got to say thanks to Requiemdream for helping me out.
Well another Archons player 56 lvl hunter with mining and engineering skills. I have talked to a few of you already and everyone seems cool so I hope to get to know more of you in the time coming.
