Who Here Like The Gundam,Wing,SEED,SEED Destiny Series

Hi people my names Smavin this is the first time ive posted on the anime forum but it looks good

Im posting this because i wana no how many people actually watch the Gundam series

im a big fan of the gundam seed series because its pretty much the only 1 ive seen but i saw a few of the gundam wing ones and there pretty awsome so i was wondering wat is the Gundam SEED Destiny all about
is it like a follow up To Gundam SEED Cause i only recently saw episode 50 an it kicked ass

so if any1 could help me out that would be great

I'm in the process of watching gundam seed still. I've watched the first season but not the second. Seen a few wing episodes, but wasn't very impressed. You might check out some of the other threads in this forum. Quite a few deal with gundam anime specifically.

Just to elaborate on Stracius' post, you can do a search on "Gundam" and you'll see other threads on the subject. Afterall, it is a very popular anime.

Watched most of them post 08th MS.

Seed was very good with the music and animation, but the story was basically a retelling of the original Mobile Suit Gundam. Destiny was a flop in that they kept reusing all the overpowered character's abilities and made, what people thought were main characters, seem week and powerless compared to the "Kira aimbot etc etc". Oh, and more rehashing of gundams from the old series.

Wing is a good series only if you can watch it from beginning to end. Alot happens in that series that if you skip around, you'll most likely be confused (I first saw it on Cartoon Network but kept missing episodes).

GundamX is another favorite. The animation looks a little old compared to SEED's, but the story is top notch and the characters don't seem one dimensional.

Gundam SEED was awesome.

Gundam SEED Destiny is arguably, the worst Anime ever made.

Not because there's something wrong with it fundamentally, but because the story starts off so well, with so much potential, and at about episode 30-37 they veer it 180 degrees and slam it into a wall.

Reason it happened is because Fukuda's wife (the director's wife) got the job of handling the script, and if there ever was a reason why spouses shouldn't work together, Gundam SEED Destiny is it.

Truly horrible.

I know some anime are ok but the ones Smavin [Jake] are talking bout they are pretty <censored>, No offence i've seen them when I spelt over your house they completely sucked!
