Suggestion to our ZG/AQ raid

since most of our gear is not really ready for these instance. Should we setup something with the guildbank to make potions to give us an extra kick for a better change at less wipes? Greater Agility stacks with mongoose, elemental sharpening stones. and those wizard oils for casters, greater stonescale potions for extra armor. etc. just a thought.. since we are doing the guildbank lottery for resistance potions.

I think that would start to get expensive pretty quickly. And it would get pretty costly/time-consuming to make enough of these potions for 20 people 2 times each week. That's just my $0.02. I think that for the # of times we've done ZG, we're progressing very well, even with the gear we have. We can kill the snake boss no problem now. We've progressed well with the bat boss, and we've gotten the spider boss now. I think that with more attempts we can get farther along. We might even want to consider holding off AQ completely until we can at least get as far as attempting Hakkar on a weekly basis.

hmmmm...interesting.....why didn't we think of a solution to the gold before?? i knew there was something we forgot ...

as we have seen over the last 2 weeks we have done pretty well in the instances, biggest thing we have had to do is adapt the strats for the instance to our group.

1 Bat boss - think we can take her down in 1 or 2 trys

2 snake boss - should be able to on one try.

3 spider boss - think we can take him down in 1 or 2 trys.

4 tiger boss - I belive we will need about 2 trys to do this boss this week

Now I know what peps are thinking 1 or 2 trys per boss???
if you look it took us a few times to get the 2nd boss down now that we know how and can do it in our sleep its no time what so ever, the other bosses will be the same by the week after this.

I am hoping to get these bosses and at least another 2 after that.

I am starting to record the boss battles so we can look over them and see what happens and what we could do better.

I am belive in a few weeks we can get to the point of runs ZG on fridays and finish the instance on friday and do AQ on saterday and start learning that one better.

just will take time and us all learning the instance.

Every group has a learnig curve when they enter a new instance for the entire group. Think back even to your first entry into brd, scholo, estrat, ubrs etc with a group where nobody had frequented it, including you... how many times did you die? How many do you die now? It wasn't gear as a good number have since gone back with new unequipped chars and still faired well, the biggest difference is experience, something we'll get with time in ZG and AQ too. I am all for concentrating on getting 1 down before we move on though as it will make the next one easier.

ZG, is meant for beginning raid groups. I don't think our gear is what making us wipe. If we just learn the instance more and more, (wipes?) it will come to use easier. The only potions, I think would help is mana and health pops, and maybe repairbots.
