Hey guys, this is Rajin, the rogue class lead from STNY. We've had a lot of interest in Molten Core expressed from our members, and we no longer run it. I was just wondering what kind of room/class needs you guys have, as we would greatly appreciate any chance to run MC with you guys. I noticed that Ismona made a similar post, so this might be overkill.

On a side note, i noticed you guys are a little short on leatherworking patterns and I would gladly craft anything for your druids/rogues/hunters. I am a 300 Elemental LW with every pattern available. Drop me a line if you ever need stuff crafted.

Hey Rajin...If you could get a full list of people who are willing to run MC with us, it would be very helpful. Currently we are doing it with koa which mean unless you carry a SSX or KOA tag you can't loot, but we are looking to do it ourselves, in which case the loot system can be changed (I know a lot of you guys are looking for your T2 pants). This of course means we have to actually get enough people. So your mission should you chose to accept it: See who else on STNY wants to run MC with SSX and get a rough headcount.

I'll just say that several weeks ago I tagged along for a weekday (Wednesday?) night MC run with STNY and they filled up just about the entire raid very quickly and plowed through MC up to and including Ragnaros in one night. So I'm confident that STNY has the ammount of members we would need to fill up our raid, and given the interest they have shown, it deffinitely seems like a feasible plan.

To my understanding, they quit doing MC entirely because of a lack of interest within their guild. So while I don't doubt they have the people to fill the raid Req, the question remains if enough of those people still hold an interest in doing so and would be able to during the given times on a weekly basis.

The majority of their players did not see a reason to keep doing MC, I've only seen about 6-7 that have shown interest in doing this, which wouldn't be enough to complete a raid.

Just thought I'd chime in, show some optimism, and express my support of the idea. Take that as you will.

The lack of intrest was shown, not at the grass roots member level, but at the officer level of people not willing to run the instance. Most of our upper level officers play one character and only one, so they have been raiding MC for alot longer than most in the guild.

There are a number of lvl 60 alts in the guild that people are looking to gear up so to speak and are looking for a raid to run with those alts.

Mostly though, I am not too sure about what is happening at this point. I will keep you posted as best as I can.
