Adjustment Period Seems to be Over

Post by Ismona »

Well, I have spoken in depth with alot of the STNY people that have some over in the last few weeks and it seems that all of them are finnaly enjoying the game again for what it is.

Now, just for the record, one of the largest complaints I heard from people when they were in STNY is that it started feeling like a job. Now, I am not going to, or ever will for that matter, say anything bad about STNY. People wanted end game content and Skier did what had to be done to get the guild to the point where they could do the end game as they saw fit. At times it annoyed alot of people with the things he said and did, but he got us from doing MC over 3 days to getting us to nearly clearing BWL in one night.

For me, I have been having some time "dialing it back a notch". I have kept it to myself for the most part, but I have talked to some of the others and I think I have finnaly settled down to the point that I am starting to have fun with the game again.

Anyways, my son is a bit older now, but is still not sleeping though the night ( how annoying ), so my raiding will still be spotty at best for the next couple of months. Once I can get my family settled down, it will be time for my wife to go back to work.....another annoyance for both of us.

I could try to win the lottery, but I think Axavier and Lileth will want my money, lol.

I will try to raid when I can, but just so you know, it is not the guild or anyone in it that has kept me from raiding. I just have alot of stuff going on in my life. My Son has discovered that I am alot of fun to be around ( who knew that ? ) and has worn out my arms from all the tossing in the air.

I will try to play when I can.
