I'd like to ask that we don't use www.ssexiles.com. If we do my filter and the college filter will both block this site because 'sex' is in the middle.
My vote goes for www.shatteredstarexiles.com

Is www.ssx.com gone? The simplest website addresses are always better.


Otherwise www.shatteredstarexiles.com sounds good.

As for the shatteredstar domains, it is a possibility, but, we might as well take the time to pick a name. Fresh starts are good. Even if we decide it's not necessary :)

All top level ssx.* domains are taken with the exception of .cc

.com looks like an advertising clearing house.

.net is available for lease or purchase from the owner.

.org is some sort of porn site.

SSX might trip some filters, especially if the .org site is a busy porn portal.

I think I like these most of all the suggestions so far. Typing out http://www.shatteredstar.com became quite a bore after a while (ignoring the fact that I had it set as my homepage). Something shorter just makes for added convinience for us lazy bastards.

As for ssexiles sounding like a porn site... It could always draw in a few more recruits. ;D
