Kaze No Yojimbo

'Kaze no Yojimbo' means 'Bodyguard of the wind, It's the tale of a wanderer by the name of Kodama George who comes to a rural town seeking information about his brother who went missing 15 years ago and his interaction between the two small time yakuza families who run the town, it's fairly slow paced especially at the start but there is plenty of mystery and intrigue to keep you interested and as the story progress's the pace starts to pick up.

George reminds me of Bebops Spike on Valium, he's very laid back but his fighting style is the same though the series does not go heavily for guns, it's only a small town after all and most of the fights merely scuffles.

Well worth a watch especially if you enjoyed monster or similar anime.

Based on the "Yojimbo" movie by Akira Kurosawa... Sounds interesting.
