forums acting weird for me

There's something weird going on with forums for me. I can log on and see forums with any connection except with mine (or I can set a proxy connection on my own connection). When I try to log on to forums with my connection it gives me the page can't be loaded at this time crap and it's driving me crazy because I was able to log on to it fine just 2 days ago with my own connection. Now the only way for me to check forums at home is to connected to a random wirless connection. Anybody have any ideas how I can fix this.

DNS changed a few days ago. so your proxy may have the old address cached.

I have been thinking about this and if you have not already try the following.

If you are running Windows:

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup

Run Disk Cleanup and after it finishes calculating the free space it will bring up a window. Make sure that the box is selected next to "Temporary Internet Files" and "WebClient/Publisher Temporary Files"
It should automatically have these selected already but just make sure.

Then Click "OK"

After you do this then:

Start>Control Panel

Click on the Internet Options Icon.

The next window that comes up should be the "General" Tab Window,
Near the bottom right click on the "Clear History" button and Click "OK" when the next window comes up.

You can also in the "General" tab window click the "Delete Cookies" button and the "Delete Files" Button located in the middle of the "General" window.

Both of these procedures should clear out any old web info you have stored on your computer. If this does not help with the connection issue at least it will free up some space on your computer.

Trying that and also calling isp. This shouldn't have anything to do with vent though, so maybe isp will pick up in less than an hour, the jerks and their dumb music.

Just got off the phone with the stupid ISP, Comcast is taking over so they didn't bother to tell anybody that they are changing modems and certain sites are just not going to work. Should have vent again by tomorrow, but might be taking another call tomorrow so I can get Friday off. And no this time I will get to sleep all night so I get to actually have Friday off.
