Two week trial when people get invited into the guild they go into that status and get voted on.
I was also pulled aside at one point and told by an officer that Flyk wouldn't pass trial (at this rate, at the time) cuz there was several complaints but never commented on who, what or why.
Kinda a shame, since Flyk's already put more of a presence into the rest of the SSX than almost a majority, of that guild.

Odd. I always viewed undocumented complaints as nonexistant

OK as QD or any other member can tell you I was not on last night for the vote. But I do have some knowledge of this situation.
First off let me explain if you read through the guide lines that we set out on recruitment. we made a decision a while back that if someone was not doing well in their 2 week tryout, we would have an officer of the guild pull them aside and try and help them to get on the right road or find out if there was just a misunderstanding.
We do this to make sure everyone is given a fair chance at membership on Mannoroth. This is a game and we have all had that one person who cause headaches or strife and made it where you didn't want to long on to a game and play because of that. If you have one of those people then you are not having fun.
As some of you know issues between people have cause implosions in parts of SSX in the past. not just in the Mannoroth side but on the EU side as well.
As a mitigation is done with with a player its marked in there in game officer not and what the issue was.
In the past we have had very few people that have not made it into membership. As a number off the top of my head I would like to say only 3 people out of the last 30 or 40 have not made it due to vote of the guild.
With that background said.
In this case a few days after Flyk AKA karrana when joined after 3 or 4 days had an officer come and speak with them after being rude and having a condescending attitude towards another member. This was done through tells in the game because Karrana did not want to long on to vent after asked to. The officer asked to have them join vent so they could understand fully how serious of an issue this could become if not rectified. but because vent was not used for it the officer tried to use the tells to stress the importance of resolving these issues.
well a few days afterwards during chat in the guild karrana started having another issues with attitude towards another player. a different officer went thought the same steps as before to try and help it become worked out. With the same issues as the first mitigation. Karrana did not want to log on to vent to have the conversation. so it had to be done thought tells again.
well the 2 week time came up. time for members to vote. we had votes against membership. because of this we asked for another mitigation. I was even brought to QD that Karrana did not seem to understand that at the rate they were going there was going to be no chance at membership.
3rd week comes up and vote is preformed with same results.
We do the votes anonymously using CT-raids voting features. only members are allowed to vote for other players membership. If there is only one or 2 players who vote no on a vote for membership we do ask that those players whisper us so me make sure that the issue is not the same issues that should have been dealt with and find out with that player when the last time the issues happened. we do this to make sure that the issue arose again after mitigation was done. In the final vote there were numerous people who were still having the issues.
As you can see from the wall of text posted everything that could be done was done.
As an officer my self i have been involved in many of these discussions and mitigations. This vote only affect the mannoroth group and does not affect membership in to SSX as a whole. but it has become clear that karrana did not take to heart the issue and did not want to rectify the situation. So at this time we are sorry to say but we can not accept their membership into SSX mannaroth. If there are personal issues going on or things in your life karrana that were causing this attitude problem then when you have them setteled and some time has been give to let the old wounds heal then you are welcome to come back and reapply again but at this time we can not help you.
As far as giving out names and and starting little wars I will not do so. As you can see we went a lot further then most groups would even try to go. Its like telling someone don't put your hand in the fire don't put your hand in the fire. then they do and cry because they got burnt.
Our track record stands we have had less inter-guild issues and drama due to this process. with as i stated before very few people who were voted out by the members.
As anyone who has been in a position like this can tell you this is one part of this job i Hate. I am sorry that it did not work out. I wish you all the best in the future.

Initiate period is just that an initiate period. It is how we can tell if a person can get along with the rest of the members of the guild. When there are mutliple people expressing that they can not stand the arrogance of an initate and conversation in guild chat not just in whispers in game has made mention of this arrogance, the final outcome of the vote is not suprising. I am not going to mention event or people involved because I do not have permission from the people to do so. However I am locking this thread to prevent any more flare ups of this topic.

Trixster has opened the option for you to talk to him through multiple venues. I however have complete faith in our officers, I have 3 separate officers stating they have talked to you or tried talking to you. In the first instance all you would do was ask for names of those complaining which as stated is not something we will devulge. I find it hard to believe that out of the people speaking to me it is 3 separate officers not directly involed in the issues lieing in this situation.
Since you have joined I personally have received nothing but complaints regarding general attitude towards members, and I will give you this much, it was not just 2-3 people or limited to any certain cliques etc, these are things I take into account heavily.
There has been a complete disrespect of keeping the channel rating down while kids are online (This is something we're fairly loose on... just ask to check the channel rating first.) Then throwing attitude towards multiple members. The warnings were not listened to, and a hostile environment was created, Flyk being the center of it.
So, having all of this in front of me and not seeing the issues clearing in any form, I was one of the people that left a No vote for Saturday's meeting. So, if you want an inactive member of SSX to pin this on here you go, I am right here. That is the view I have of this post and the only direction I see this going in. For this reason I am locking the topic.
