Not Sure About TBC

Post by Flyingdanish »

As many others have inquired, what is going to happen at TBC? Will we still have weekly raids? But my thoughts are about the lvling and new material.... i personally am not completely enthused with the new lvl cap. I like it at 60, new races, bring it, but.... With the new lvl cap, i fear the guild will drift apart like other guilds will. Outland, sounds fun, the extra month worth of gameplay it's gonna take me to get to 70? not so fun. Ill probably go away, come back, and not be able to participate in the guild... *sigh*

Thoughts? =|

My opinion is you worry too much, take your time, enjoy yourself, people will still be here when you get 70, whether you get there before or after them.

yup...got the expac...played in Outland for a few hours...did the Blood Furnace instance (coolness!)...then promptly turned around and made a Draenei mage and BE lock...LOL.

Want to get some rested bonus (what's up with all you long-time 60s having little or no rested xp???), then hit Outland HARD! LOL.

No worries, Mark :) not planning on hitting 70 in a month (buahahaha!)...apparently, it'll take about 15 days IN GAME play to get there anyway...that's just under how long it took me to get Lilleth to 60... :o

Pffft. It took me the better part of two years (or 25 game days) to get my Horde Warrior to level 60. People are excited about the new content sure. I mean after 100 MC runs, anyone in their right mind would be. I highly doubt that we will drift apart due to a level 70 cap. But I certainly understand not diggin the grind. But don't let that sour your own experience with WoW.

As for participation, I think I am officially the least participating member here and yet I still roll on. No one's booted me yet. The point is to have fun. That's what the guild has always been about.

Took me from June 05 to Jan of 07 to get to 60, about 25 days too.
I thought no one was slower than me, lol.
Not alot of time, with work and family, but I still enjoy the game.
Lag aside, I think the expansion is pretty damn good.
