I know that if one wishes to gain Reputation within a Racial Faction, and, indeed have never had a problem with characters travelling to another starter city and picking up those Quests. However, earlier today I went with my Forsaken to Sunstrider Isle, and none of the NPC Blood Elves would give me their Quests! I clicked on each one in turn (having begun a few Blood Elves before, I knew which give Quests), but all to no avail. What I did get was their closing speech ... the paragraph or so that they give to a Blood Elf who has already completed all the Quests for that particular NPC. What gives?

Because 1) Your probably too high to do the quest, 2) You don't meet the requirements to do the quest ie need to be a Blood Elf, or 3) Maybe you didn't talk to the right people?

But if I had my guess, I would say it is number 2 as there is a quest or two that require the use of Blood Elf abilities.

I had that same problem with my Forsaken when I brought it to Sunstrider Isle at lvl 1. The beginning quests are only doable by Blood Elves and the others, starting in Falconwing Square require a level 4 character. If you're already past that level it may be as LM said, you're probably too high for the quest or the pre-requisite quests to activate the latter ones. Try going back to Falconwing Square and chatting people up. If nothing, try moving to Fairbreeze Village and doing the same. Unless you're way too high chances are good you'll find someone at one of the zones with quests.

This also brings up another point for a different thread. Your timing is appropos.

I took Kojote's advice to heart and went to Sunstrider with a lvl 4, making sure to earn 5 before I even tried to speak with Outrunner Alarion. Apparently she is where non-Blood Elves must start out ... which makes sense on the one hand (the second Blood Elf area starts with her), but not on the other (if one tries to impress most other Races, they can start at the very first section).

I guess these Elves are just aloof- who knew?
