What is this about a raid?

Well on Sunday a couple of us after a grueling LBRS run (full clear in record time with four people) decided to head to MC just to see what we could do. That number grew to 12 in a short amount of time but because of a slight oversight we stopped after a bit.

We did find out that MC is definately 10 manable with characters at the 60+ level. Although we would need at least two tanks for the run.

So with that same wild hair we decided to get attuned to Naxx and did some Strat runs for mats and rep and a number of people got attuned on Sunday.

For MC we really only need about 6 to 10 people but at least two warriors. The more the merrier and the fastest it is cleared. Same is true for AQ20. BWL will probably require around 15 to 20 people.

For AQ40 or Naxx I am not sure how many we would need as I have not ventured in there before. I would say at least 20 people for Aq40 and maybe 30 for Naxx.

All of that being said there is apparently interest to do these big instances, so for those who are interested we will going to a big old school instance this Friday at 7pm. Which instance we go on will be determined on who shows up and who is attuned for what.

So if you are interested in a raid for this coming Friday please post here with your class level and your raid attunements.

well these big instance runs only be on friday?or will it lead to the weekends as well

Seeing that yesterday we were able to get 10+ people so easily, Karazhan runs will not be a long wait.

Well that depends on how much interest there is to do these raids.

As for Karazhan, it resets on Tuesdays. The couple of pug runs I have been on will require a full raid of 10 with a good mix of classes. It is an instance where there is a learning curve with the trash and bosses. If you pull aggro on trash you will most likely have to ress. So just be prepared to have to fix your armor, it is just one of those things. However, the drops are worth it and the gold is decent which should at least let you break even. It is a very fun instance though just as long as you do not get bummed about the wipes.

(Hate the Romeo and Juliet opera event btw)

If we are able to get enough people attuned for Naxx
we can do Naxx and for a active( almost everyday or at least raid days) player to get the ateish staff and have him/her create the portal for us to karazhan, even though this is minor i feel it may be useful because, 1 we can have some fun in Nax since some ppl wanted to go b4 the expac can go now
and 2, we are able to get to karazhan faster instead of flyin to shattrah and taking the portal and flying to duskwood and ride to karazhan.

btw for those who need the nax attunment, I have about 15 nexus crystals sitting at the bank, it will be a first come first serve for those who need to get attuned.

but personally I am dieing to get attuned for kara, I am still stuck on the labs run part.
