Pop Quiz!!

Post by Monamy »

ROFL the title sounds too lame for a project... :D

Anyway..
I'm somewhat bored of the game for grinding/lvling/gathering too much, so I'm just going to make some kinds of refreshing puzzles for fellow guildies. And, so it will have a reason at least, I'll be giving away some of my Alchemy products for the winners (those who answer wrong will still win, but not as much).

I thought to myself that I've been in the guild for a good while, yet I didn't do something that really stamp my presence, or - at least - make me useful >.>;

So here goes!!
Every now and then, I'll be dropping a secret puzzle for someone in his/her in-game mail by random (same person won't be asked again before I ask all the other active members), and that someone tries to solve it, maybe ask other guildies for advice or solve it alone, it doesn't matter, it's for guild enjoyment at the end ;)

Then,
the one being questioned should send an in-game mail to me (What? It's just some 30 freaking coppers :weird: ), and - based on the questioned one's class and spec - I'll be sending a reward for solving my puzzle, 5 potions for a winning answer, otherwise you might just end up with 3 potions. Still a good deal, me think :3

Note:
This is but a basic idea of my quizy-quiz project, some additional rules might be added if I feel the need to do so. And I'm open for your opinion and/or attacks on my project, so shoot away!!

What a great Idea. I think it will be a fun game to start playing. I am glad you have stepped up to come up with these things. Hope to see you all in game soon.

That sounds fun :) Especially since we "win" whether we answer correctly or not! LOL!

I'm keeping a report in this thread on every guildy that has been picked and asked randomly...

Asked Guildy: Phil
Quiz: (Jim came across his long gone friend from the past, "Oh, hello!! My god, it has been 5 years since we saw eachothers, how have you been?" "I'm married," said Jim's friend, "married to someone you don't know.. And this here is our little angel" Jim bent down, "Hello, princess, what's your lovely name?" "My name is my mother's." Jim smiled, "Then you must be little Mary" - how did Jim know the little girl's name?)
Answer: Jim's long gone friend is a woman called Mary.
Guildy's answer was: 100% correct :thumb:
Prize: 5 elixirs of +STR

Asked Guildy: Liz
Quiz: (A hospital in some city is getting really busy with all the patients they bring from car accidents, to the point that almost all the hospital is working nearly 24/7! Because of that, the law of the safty seatbelt appeared in the city at last, and to decrease the number of patients. But, for some reason, the hospital got even more busy working AFTER the law of the seatbelt, why?)
Answer: The seatbelt was protecting the people, who would otherwise die, from dying. Thus increasing the number of injured people and decreasing the number of deaths.
Guildy's answer was: 60% correct
Prize: 3 elixirs of Healing Power

More reports to come as I keep going in my project.
Careful, the next guildy might be you, who knows?
