Around 1430 today, my roommate decided that I no longer live with him. Right now I am at the library trying to figure out what I am going to do. I hope to be able to drop in there tomorrow at least long enough to get my medications and take care of some computer data stuff, but I'm not sure if he will allow that.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know. I will try to keep up with you by using the library computers, but I don't know how much time I will get or how frequently.

He is right no tenant has the right of evicting you without a court order, and even with one he will still need to give you a 72 hour notice....i know this cause its happenned to me as well.esd wrote:Bugger...
...I hope you get it sorted! I don't think he can legally hold your posessions unless you owe him money, so you're quite able to take a police officer with you if he's being an arse I believe.
Good luck sorting somewhere else!

Hello
I am sorry ot hear of your problems. I would like to say as landlord in Michigan each and every state and local authority has different laws. Please contact the police and the local city officials that deal with tenet regulations. That is your best option. I hope things work out and we see you again soon.
