The Free People of Middle Earth need you in the fight against the Dark Lord Sauron and his minions. Will you answer the call and join the forces of good in the War of the Ring?
Just wanted to say thanks to Bink and Mariwen for the escort service they provided lastnight..
That is to say they fellowshipped up with me and 3 PUG people and ran through Book 5 Chapters 5-8. Talk about a cool quest and even cooler environment! We even got to fight a Nazgul!!!
Great fun was had by all, even if no one died. Sorry Bink, I tried. I did get down to 56 health at one point, so that kind of counts right?
Mariwen - congratulations on your last page dropping last night as well!!!
Some things I learned on my Book 5 Misty Mountain Hop*
- Oz likes shinies.
- Mariwen "likes wood" (HER words, not mine).
- Bink loves Bink.
- Watching a Nazgul and his minion re-animating an undead dragon is FREAKING AWSOME!!!!
- There aint no cliff high enough that Mariwen wont jump off of.
- Bo knows The Sound of Music.
- Bink REALLY believes you arent having fun unless someone dies.
- Mariwen feels that she is "not fully mounted" (Again, HER words, not mine).
- Bink is a L33T N1NZ0R M1NZ0R.
- Killing a Nazgul is fun and when the dust clears seeing his robe splattered all over the ground is even funner.
- Mariwen really needs to be careful how she phrases things with so many dirty little minds running around in this game, especially since there is a little bit of hobbit in each of us.
THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!!
Syro- Edit at will....
* Bonus old-age points for identifying this reference.

Led Zeppelin did a song called The Misty Mountain Hop that doesnt really seem to have anything to do with LOTR aside from the title and at the end of the song where Robert Plant sings about the specters in the hills.
Faernath, what you referenced is preceded by In the darkest depths of Mordor, I met a girl so fair.. and is from Ramble On, also performed by Led Zeppelin.
All of the band members have been quoted at various times as saying that Tolkiens works were a creative influence in their music.

Well, sort of.
Yup, I couldn't think of any relevant way to reference the song so I went for one of their other songs... Personally, I much prefer Dread Zeppelin's version
The other one is too yellow to be Ozgafen though, since he is so strong and brave! Or is that brave and stupid. I forget which. Either way he does have a chewy center.
