I should be there. The Rift is in NE Angmar right? Also, are there any quests that we should pick up before we get there?

The raid was awesome last night, I had tons of fun. Also congrats to Dwar and Azlor on getting their rift boots!
We learned a lot about the rift on our short journey in there, like how to stay alive (we wiped on the first two fights)! So after doing the run, the online guides will make a bit more sense to us. I like this guide, but there are others out there that are just as good. Have a read through this stuff as it should help for future runs in the rift. For instance, one thing we did a bit backwards was our approach to the Troll/Troll-keeper combo (my fault). The recommendation is to kill the Troll-keeper first as he buffs the troll and the keeper goes down a lot faster than the troll. Also the guide I posted above has a page for each boss that has strategies for that boss as well as the a screen shot of the LM inspect. Both Barz and Zurm are the most resistant to light and fire damage. Good stuff to know!
I'll be back from Christmas vacation towards the end of the month so I'll have to get my fix from reading about your rift adventures here on the forums. I can't wait to get back in there with you guys and gals!

So, um, professional curiosity...... who DIED? (aside from the wipes)
Actually, what all happend? How far did you guys get? What kind of loot was grabbed?
Sorry for the questions, I've never been to the rift and missed lastnight due to the OPS effect.

There was lots of dying. There were a few dead when we killed Barz because towards the end of the fight one of his rampage attacks was delayed a bit from his vocalized tell so a few of the melee peeps got smashed. The first attempt at Barz was a wipe.Ozgafen wrote:So, um, professional curiosity...... who DIED? (aside from the wipes)
The short version is, we got to and killed the first boss (named Barz.) He dropped two Near Perfect Sapphires (barter item for the boots).Ozgafen wrote:Actually, what all happend? How far did you guys get? What kind of loot was grabbed?
