HELP! I've been attacked and I can't get up

I was attacked just now because this guys was "bored". I am in anarchy.

What kind of losses have you had? Did you bolster your military and go to DefCon 1?

I sent him a message.

I can't attack him, and someone else should get a chance, anyway. Who wants to deal with this guy?

He's out of my range. I'll send in-game messages to Zephir, Jericho, and Syros.

I recommend these three declare war, attack twice (aggressive mode), and then wait until his response to Messiah.

Anyone second the motion?

I hit him back this morning. I won the first battle, but didn't do much damage. Lost the second. He is not in anarchy.

How long will I be in anarchy? Can I still do tech deals while in anarchy?

Why can't anyone attack him? Do you have to be less powerful? Seems like Jericho is close enough.

I don't think I am in immediate danger of serious consequences. I guess this is mostly just irritating and frustrating since it derails my growth.

I can't. I tried checking his nation and it didn't allow me to attack since normally you will have a double sword icon to click under that nation's strength if that nation is within range of my nation. And he is not.

I've double confirmed this in the nation's rankings where I can attack nations much closer to my strength. My nation's strength is almost double of his.

I quote this from the CN Info Index.

Declaring War - Cyber Nations incorporates the ability to wage war against other nations. You can declare war on anyone as long as 1) they are not designated as a peaceful nation and 2) they are within the 75% - 133% ration of your strength range or within 250+/250- rankings based on strength. To declare war you must be viewing the information page for the nation that you want to declare war against. At the top of the page you will see a link that says, "Declare War On This Nation".

My nation's strength : 7142.470
His nation's strength : 3762.909

Since he's lower than me...so he has to be within 75% lower from me for me to attack him. So 75% of my 7142.470 is 5356.853. That is the lowest range that I can hit and he's nowhere near that. That's why I suggested that the nations lower than Vince may be able to hit him.

If they can't, our bigger nations can send some aid to them to attack. Thoughts?

So it looks like only myself, Syros and Kahn are able and/or equipped to attack this guy.

I'll be afk soon and until Friday afternoon. My defenses are strong enough for now. I don't think he can do too much damage before then.

Anyone who wants a piece of this guy has my appreciation.

The attacker says he has offered peace to Vince. Vince is out of touch til Friday, so I can't confirm this. I would hold back on an attack until we can confirm this.

I am not sure about Vince's losses. I don't know if reparations are warranted. It looks like this guy attacked another nation at the same time, and between the other guy and Vince, the attacker seems to be seriously weakened. Anyone have an opinion on action against this guy?

Find out what the damage is, tell hi ma cease fire is in effect for the holidays and we'll decide after Xmas whether to make punitive strikes or sue for reparations. Maybe he'll think about appropriate payback and offer something in the interim.

Hey, I am back.

The other nation he was attacked was Gnu Found Land (such a good name, I think). Looks like Gnu had their way with Taurin over the holiday. Taurin was in anarchy this morning with almost no infrastructure. I think he retracted his offer of peace, but I submitted one to him after a few volleys of cruise missiles and an attack with 150 soldiers. It seems pointless to ask for reparations since he has nothing left.

This pretty much seems over to me. My losses aren't so bad. I'll lick my wounds and be out of anarchy tomorrow.

I have a lot of cash on hand right now. Before I spend it on myself let me know if you need it. I was ready to send it but then I realized you were at DEFCON 5, so I don't know what's going on with this right now. I do know that NV is on the case as well.
