Bioshock Infinite is currently cheaper then the steam sale and includes 2 DLC if you buy from game. Just £5 rather than £6.24 plus the extra DLC.

I saw you picked BioShock Infinite up btw, good man
- [If anyone else still needs to play this or doesn't yet own a copy (even if you've already played it), check the giveaway thread I posted yesterday!]
Let us know how you found it once you've finished it, Sl33py. I know you were more than a little unsure on that one like Anny was but I'm hoping you'll be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy!

I decided to skip it myself. Bought AoE3 in one of the previous sales which I've yet to actually play (one of the many in my backlog heh), figured I'd see what that one's like first before I go buying any others. If I like it I'll be sure to get AoE2 in a future sale!
Looking at my steam feed though it seems like you didn't buy it in the end either? Something turn you off with this HD release?

Need to go get a new prepaid card this weekend. I'll pay more for it, which is disappointing, but the game is worth it!

Ah damn
I just use my paypal account for most of my steam purchases. Got some funds in my steam wallet atm though which I've been using up.
If you want AoE2 getting before the sale ends (or anything else for that matter) I don't mind getting them for you whilst they're still on sale. Then you could just gift me something back off my wishlist of equal value or buy a steam wallet code from GAME or something. Offer is there if you want mate
Would highly recommend XCOM from today's sale, Mark of the Ninja and ofc L.A. Noire for those of you who still don't own that. 3 fantastic games there though I own all 3 heh

So, what did you guys pick up during the sales?
I bought more than I had originally planned but it's hard to say no to some of those huge savings
More so when the big sales are the summer one and Christmas so we'll have a while to wait for the next one hehe.
Me:
Gone Home
The Stanley Parable
Godus
Electronic Super Joy + Bonus Content
Urban Chaos
Papers, Please
Guacamelee! Gold Edition
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Sleeping Dogs DLC Collection
Giana Sisters: Twisted Bundle
Left 4 Dead 2
Cook, Serve, Delicious!
XCOM: Enemy Within
Spelunky
Dust: An Elysian Tail
PixelJunk Eden
The Swapper
Mark of the Ninja: Special Edition DLC
Interstellar Marines
The Walking Dead: Season 2
From Steam, GMG & the Humble Store. Minus what I gave out in the giveaway thread and received as gifts (<3)
Would have cost around £245 outside of the sales. For what I paid you couldn't even buy 2 new console releases (even for PS3/360) haha.
Gotta love the sales!
Steam sale ends tomorrow so tonight will most likely be an encore, a small selection of last chance repeat deals. All the other deals (the site-wide ones) will probably end when the site updates in 3hrs. I could be wrong though.

Xcom Enemy Unknown/Within is still on sale for 50 mins, I highly recommend it if anyone is still on the fence about it
As soon as the sales are over tomorrow I will post my final list and like M.Steiner stated, I have purchased far more than I had originally intended to

Had a pretty good haul this season. Didn't even break $30.
I received a few awesome gifts:
Dishonored
System Shock 2
Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics (from GOG)
Left 4 Dead 2 (from Valve)
And made these purchases for myself:
Kerbal Space Program
Startopia
Gone Home
Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord
Pinball FX2 DLC (Star Wars pack, Excalibur, Captain America tables)
No duds to be found here. Should keep me satisfied for quite a while, on top of the 3DS I've been busy with.

GMG is having a sale on Square Enix games and the Hitman series is 75% off. These are all Steam keys. You can use this code for an additional 25% off the sale price:
GMG25-0YUM5-VKMVU
I picked up Hitman: Blood Money for $1.68. I remember a few friends singing its praises when it first came out, and I know MS counts it as one of his favorites, so it should prove worth the price at least.

Have replayed Blood Money sooo many times over the years, absolutely love it. Great deal there
Don't be too put off by the opening mission. Compared to the rest of the game it's quite linear in terms of its level design and ways to go about your objective(s), basically serves as a tutorial really. The missions that follow open up much more. Lots of fun.
I've just made use of that 25% off voucher and pre-purchased Thief from them (Master Thief Edition) for £22 too. Not bad at all considering the standard boxed copy I was eyeing on Amazon earlier was £35!

Sony are having a PSN sale on Final Fantasy titles atm, for anyone interested
Runs until Feb 5th and PS+ members get an additional 10% off too.
Won't be playing either of them just yet what with FFX-HD around the corner mind, don't fancy playing too many FF titles back to back heh. Jumped on the savings for when I do though!
Also if you still don't have it:

Awesome thanks for the tip.
Sadly it doesn't include EAs new features that everyone is raving about in the remake but guess we will just have to suffer with the original....
