Hail and how goes it?!

Hey guys, it's Bladesinger. Some of y'all may recall me from Way Back When (tm). I used to mod the Fantasy Adventure (Diablo II, Morrowind, and D+D) forum until there were no games worth playing and D+D got its own forum. After a couple years of nothing new I've finally broken down and am looking into a pay-to-play with WoW at the top of the list.

Could someone please direct me toward the appropriate thread to find out what I might need to know about the SSX involvement in WoW?. Never join another guild when the SSX has one of its own, right? :)

Thanks!
Phil (formerly known as SSC-Bladesinger; shows how long it's been, huh?)

While I'm a newer SSX member, I can tell you how to get in touch with us. :) On the US Servers, we are on the PvP server Mannoroth on the Alliance side. We have a smaller group (in comparison to Bladefist on the EU side) but currently have alliances with a couple of other guilds to allow for some of the end game content. When you get online you can type "/who shattered" and it should pull up who's online for you atm. We're usually online a couple of hours on weeknights and for most of the weekend. If it says we're in Molten Core or Blackwing lair, please be patient, we may accidentally miss your message or take a little bit to be at a place we can respond. You'll likely want to download the latest version of ventrillo... after that we'll be able to help you easier with everything else. Hope to see you online soon.

Thank you Magdalena. If I get it I know where I'll be playing. Right now I'm most interested in playing a Dwarven Paladin. Is that something the group has a need for?

Regards,
Phil

More pallies are always good... we're pretty open on whatever you want to play though. Two we are the lightest on are warlocks and a dwarf priest, though I think someone has a dwarf priest they're working on and a lot of us have warlock alts. We're light on pretty much everything though since we're still pretty small. Those two are just what is usually still missing when we team up with our alliance guilds, and what I'm guessing we'll continue to be light on since there aren't many of them on the server in comparison to other classes. Priest is the only class I know of where race can make a big difference in end game content, dwarf priests have a special ability fear ward which comes in pretty handy.
Strongly suggest playing what will be the most fun for you though, otherwise game doesn't seem to be as much fun.
