SSX Mannoroth Raid Loot Sheet & Raid Rules

Post by Magdalena »

You can locate the latest Raid Loot Spreadsheet at:

MC Percentage

BWL Percentages

This is a temporary holding until we get the site fully operational.

How to Read the spreadsheet:

Tier 1 Items:

Column C is your Percentage, Column D is the cutoff point you create if you have the lowest percentage.

Look at people rolling and find the person with the lowest percentage
Anyone who has a percentage lower than their column D is eligible to roll on the item. From there it is a matter of luck.

Tier 2 Items:

Column E is your percentage, column F is the cutoff point. Works the same as Tier 1 items except that there is a minimum attendance requirement of 15 to roll on this item. Those who have 15 attendance will then be judged by their tier 2 percentage (if any) to determine cutoffs. If there are no attendies wishing for the item with the appropriate raid attendance, it will open up to those with less raids.

At the moment there is not much in the way of T2 items we come across, so after looking at attendance it is likely we will look to T1 values for cutoffs for a while, however the T2 item will still be applied to your T2 percentage. Until we have more stability in the numbers, this has been the best option available to keep it fair and relative overall.

While the numbers are checked and called out in raid, you are highly encouraged to keep tabs yourself. Loot masters are human, we make mistakes sometimes.

How to read the sheet is of course a simplified explanation, to see how these numbers are determined please visit our FAQ.

Additional FAQ:

Q:
I have more than 1 level 60 I am able to bring to raids, how will each of them be treated regarding loot?

A:
Here we believe in viewing members as the person at the keyboard rather than which character they're on. Your percentage thus goes across all characters the same.

Q:
Can I work with members of my class before the rolls to work out who the item should go to?

A:
While usually done with the best of intentions, please resist the urge to do so. This more often than not causes strife somewhere down the line. Someone usually ends up feeling slighted in these side discussions even if that is not the intent. If an item drops you feel should be given a special consideration, please whisper a non involved officer at that time for it to go into officer discussion, preferably whoever is handling the loot sheet as long as they are not rolling on that particular item. Anyone not rolling on the item can start this officer vote, though it takes a unanimous vote amongst all officers not involved to overrule.

All of this being said, we raid to have fun together. Arguments over silly purple words on your screen can destroy what is intended to be a fun night out. If someone is pressuring you or giving you a hard time over loot items, please contact an officer and let them know. If you are found to be repeatedly causing issues over loot you will likely be asked to leave the raid or removed until you can learn to come out and just have fun with everybody. Please remember if you do not win an item, this will not be the last time that item drops. These loot wars have destroyed countless end game guilds and there is no 100% fair system to use. The majority of this group though they enjoy the new content would rather not go on raids at all than see this happen to our family here. If you do not consider your fellow players here more valuable than purple items, this is likely not the guild for you.

Note: This section will be updated in the coming weeks while we work out some issues that have come up during raids.

Raid Rules:

1. Reagants for your class are required to receive attendance for the raid. As part of this, having the current CT Raid Assist will be required so that we can see these reagants. A count will be taken at the start and end of each raid to ensure all are taking on their part of keeping buffs etc. up. If you want to raid there are costs associated with this and these should be distributed between all members of a class.

2. Non SSX Tagged characters will not be allowed to loot and will not result in receiving attendance regardless of the player playing that character.

3. Upon being declared winner of an item, you will have 5 minutes to loot the item before it is passed to the next person in line. If the item is not picked up it will not be marked on your percentage, however not being able to pick it up will not entitle you to future loot of that item. Winnings are in place for that turn only, while we're sorry if something happens at that time, these are things the guild can not be held accountable for.

4. Contribution of at least 2 hours is required to earn an attendance point. While you will not be prevented from looting during a run where you do not stay that long, an additional attendance will not be given. While we try to understand real life comes first, it is not fair to count attendance for those that come only for specific parts they deem worth (boss battles) or only staying a small amount of time the same credit as those who stay through the entirety. A better system may be coming in the future however with current tracking abilities, this is a minor step to ensure a more equal grounds for the group.

5. Starting this week, 1/2 attendance point will be added to the attendance of those who attend our weekly meetings at 5:30pm Saturdays, right before the raid. This is in order to reward those taking active roles in building and maintaining our group together and encourage others to do likewise. This system may stop or change at any time, depending on the outcome, but for now this is the decision that has been made.
