New Call of Duty 3 Maps

The COD3 Valor Map Pack will appear on Xbox Live Marketplace in the early morning Thursday, and run for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Last week, Activision released one new free map, Champs. Tomorrow, the Valor pack comprises five maps, all based in France, enabling all game modes from War to Capture the Flag to Deathmatch among others to play. The pack includes the maps Crossing, Wildwood, Stalag 23, La Bourgad, and Iron Clad.

10 bucks for 5 maps, dunno, I don;t play CoD3 enough to justify that.

That's quite a ripoff. I knew the whole Marketplace and Microsoft Points thing was going to be very, very bad news. You know, Madden is going to start charging for stuff that used to be in the game, such as extra uniforms and roster updates.

Dunno, don't play CoD much at all. Haven't even bothered with the free map yet.

Many were disappointed last week when the new Call of Duty 3 maps were unplayable. One of the games developers has announced that a fix will be available in the "very near future." Accompanying the re-release of the Valor Map pack will be an update to Call of Duty 3 that should fix two of its major problems.
